Can a partial fundoplication loosen after 2 years?

Hi Group! I had a Heller myotomy with partial fundoplication in Oct 2009 with

GREAT results! I have recently been experiencing severe acid reflux, which was

never problem for me before! I was however placed on Nexium post surgery to help

with my esophageal spasms (which helped greatly). But now I am waking up with

acid up my throat and into my mouth, not pleasant. Does anyone know if the

" wrap " can loosen? I shudder to think I would have to go through the operation

again, even though it was very much worth doing it. THANKS!
