A wrap can loosen. They don't usually do a surgery just to fix it

though. They would if it was too tight and they couldn't dilate it, but

loose is better than too tight. They would most likely start you on a

PPI and see how that goes.

Are you sure it is gastric acid? Hot sauce, hot curry, and even lemons

can taste like gastric reflux even if they only made it to the esophagus

and were just regurgitated. Also spicy food can also make reflux more

likely because it can effect the LES. So can chocolate and other foods.

If you are eating something different lately that may be the problem and

not just the wrap.
