Hi Kathy

That has been my problem for many years, the BM. This happened maybe at age 70,

now 81 so that may be normal for an old fart. Dont vomit ever, but at times

regurgitate on my way home from a walk to

Mcs on my second cup,I carry with me.

Got Achalasia at 75 so maybe they are connected to A. Now I take Magnesium 250

mg twice a day, that really helps. If I get too loose I take just one. Also I

believe the Magnesium helps with the Achalasia opening the LES. The pills

dissolve very easily in the LES.

I was so bad many years ago took Milk of Magnesium and then found out I could

then eat much better, so went on to Magnesium ever day.

Once in awhile I use a glycerin suppository, they work great, maybe in an hour

you will feel MUCH better.

You need to look at your fibre each day, maybe take a fibre supplement.

Tell me your age etc.

Ray CA OC 81 and NO OPERATIONS etc.

That can happen for a number of reasons. Anything from vagal stimulation

(Vagus nerve), to gallstones, adhesions, IBS and other bowel problems,

and more. Couldn't hurt to have it checked out. Often nothing can be

found but at least that rules out the things that could have been found

if they were there, assuming the doctors look for them. A doctor may not

look for a condition that could cause these symptoms if there are not

other symptoms that condition usually causes.

Feeling better,

Just like we can't ever separate ourselves from achalasia, I guess that Notan

just can't ever separate himself from our group.  I am so glad to see you post

again and that you are showing positive signs of recovering.
