Guest guest
I wAnt your insurance coverage!! (btw glad your back and getting along) I had a dilation in august (nematic dilation) and it's done ok but deff having problems with pain and food still not going down-not complaining too much bc I'm not throwing up every time I try to swallow either. But they scheduled another nematic dilation for last week. I drove the 2 hours down there the night before with all my kids. Spent the night with my folks. Got at hospital at 9 am went through prep and waited and waited...finally the dr came in-they lost the balloon! We were using the medium one this time and they list it and couldn't find it. They're the only hospital in state that does it so they couldnt 'borrow' one. It was a waste of two days for me. My next appointment is still 3 weeks away!! When I got home the bill from hospital for the first one was in the mail box. It was just over $10,000. My part was over $1000. That's for half a day in the hospital!! Sigh...my husband says it's well worth it bc I am leading an almost normal life again!! My wife is primary on it and gets it offered through her employer, instead of a lesser one, because she is in a management position. > ... they scheduled another nematic dilation for last week. ... > Hopefully the dilatation will do the trick. Maybe they would give you discount for the trouble. notan

I was told not to put much pressure or weight on it for another two months. Big bummer! The right foot is coming along nicely. Yay! I can even put some weight on it. Yay! By my count the yays have it. notan
