Guest guest
I read a lot of posts from others about food sticking. I have a lot of pain in the center of my chest located near bottom rows of my ribs. Laying down after I eat gives me some relief, the only thing that seems to help me. This condition is a big mystery to me and I have not found a specialist to offer a lot of information, they seem to be as confused as me. Guest guest
Have you had any testing to confirm achalasia - barium swallow, manometry, etc? Â Find a specialist that is experienced with achalasia - folks on this site can help direct you depending on where you live. Â Also, try to eat small frequent meals as opposed to larger volumes - this may help. Guest guest
Mine is worse lying down and gets better after drinking lots of water and sitting up. Try drinking something with bubbles after any food. I find it helps lots. > > I read a lot of posts from others about food sticking. Guest guest
I have seen some well-known specialists on the east coast. I have had a HM w/dor spring 2010 and dilation 7 months later. In 2011 I have had an endoscopy with more testing and I still do NOT have answers, doctors say my condition is complicated because they cannot offer a solution. I am tired of seeing doctors with little relief. I won't give up!! I read here every day hoping for some ideas. I guess I will try a liquid diet again in small amounts. > > Where are you from? surelly there is someone out there with an Achalasia specialist's name and contact details for you. > from the UK > > > ________________________________ > From: Barb C. bagwoman52@... > achalasia > Sent: Thursday, October 27, 2011 12:33 AM > Subject: Food sticking pain??? > > > Â > I read a lot of posts from others about food sticking.
