Guest guest
Pasta has been one of the foods that I have a lot of trouble with. I love pasta but it goes down very hard for me. I have tried everything to make it easier to eat but it is hit or miss whether it will go down or not. S -- Re: Coffee and Chocolate post HM? , I thought spagehetti was one of the easier things to eat..that's no good! I find that soft drinks with 'real' sugar work better than the diet variety. During my 6 years of having 'reflux' I have still had coffee and chocolate without a problem. I know for some with reflux they can't. So hoping after my HM it will be good for me too! > > > > Does anyone know if coffee or chocolate is banned after HM surgery? > > I have given up so many foods, but I couldn't cope without coffee and chocolate. > > I think I read somewhere that these might be off limits, but I don't know if it is true or not. > > > > from Australia > > > ------------------------------------ As a member of this group, you are invited to join the HealthShare Groups community center located at http://healthsharegroups.org. Guest guest
Sorry to hear that hubby is still having problems swallowing . Why isn't he doing something about it? This cannot go on. from the UK ________________________________ From: milwaukeemommy & lt;milwaukeemommy@... & gt; achalasia Sent: Wednesday, October 26, 2011 9:04 PM Subject: Re: Coffee and Chocolate post HM? Â My husband cannot drink coffee any more -- he drinks tea. Although I do see he tried to have some coffee today while I was at work - I wonder how that went for him. The only soda he can drink is the Mountain Dew throwback - he said because it has & quot;real & quot; sugar in it. He eats chocolate no problem - in fact that & #39;s about all he eats. It & #39;s all the regular non-chocolate foods he & #39;s having trouble with. The latest catastrophe was Sunday & #39;s spaghetti. & gt; & gt; Does anyone know if coffee or chocolate is banned after HM surgery? & gt; I have given up so many foods, but I couldn & #39;t cope without coffee and chocolate. & gt; I think I read somewhere that these might be off limits, but I don & #39;t know if it is true or not. & gt; & gt; from Australia & gt;
