Hi Sam,

 

Just had my Heller + Dor in Jan 2011.  I remember I could only have clear

liquids for 1 day prior to the surgery.

Hi, Hope everyone is doing ok. Well it's nearly op time fri could'my come soon

enough. Am freaking out that I have forgotten something. Does anyone remember if

u have to.be on clear liquids the day before surgery. Or is it just no food (

not that thsts a problem as I'm on liquids) after midnight! I can't believe I

have forgotten!! Any advice greatly recieved u all have been so great just

wanted to say thank u x x

The liquids probably should not have any red coloring.

Good luck Sam, can't wait to hear how it turns out.

I have got my surgery booked for Nov 16, so I am counting down the days until

hopefully I can eat some real food! Perhaps even Christmas dinner!

I am to be on clear liquids for 3 days pre-op

I only have to fast for a few hours before my op.
