Guest guest
Jen, Good Morning Not to go into “counseling” here, Jen, but you can’t blame the treatment for all of that. DE But ...... I feel the need and will. You are responsible for your own actions just as your family members and all others and especially other adults are too. For some reason or reasons or because of the actions of others you have taken on the responsibility and quilt for the deliberate, destructive and illegal actions of others and their poor choices. As a parent and a mother we do feel quilt if our child is hurt in any form. In your case and the degree of the problems and situations I think and strongly urge you to receive professional help and counseling and also for your family members. Also a viral load is not an indicator of the severity of HCV only a measurement of the virus at the time of testing which does constantly fluctuate and a measure of how it responds to treatment. A person needs to know their stage and grade in order to know what level of HCV disease they are in and how much permanent damage has been done. Your liver enzyme labs and other labs indicates how well your liver other organs and systems are functioning or not at the time of testing. These also constantly fluctuate with the severity and activity of HCV and other diseases. All The Best to You and Your Family. Take Care and God Bless. Guest guest
Not to say I am not responsible, simply stating what my reaction to treatment was. I finished treatment and that was that - they told me that I was ok. I guess I didn't know the right questions to ask, just wanted to be done with it because it was an absolute nightmare. Tried to call my gastroenterologist, appears I need a new referral to go for a follow up - sooooo we will see how that goes. As far as counseling - well - it is pretty pointless to go alone, I was in counseling for around 6 months and felt it was a waste of time, hubby will not go - you know tough Navy Bos'n and all that crap Anyways, I sincerely hope that part of my life is in the past. Guest guest
Oh no - I wasn't saying that what happened to my son and daughter were the fault of my treatment, I guess I wasn't clear at all. Basically I was outlining how incredibly insanely stressful things have been for the past couple of years - I do not blame treatment on what happened to my children. What my husband did was defintely part of HIS reaction to my treatment. That much I do know, however, his bad behavior is not my responsibility - he has to deal with that. All I can do is look for what my part in it was. Gosh, I really need to start proofing my emails - sometimes my fingers go faster than my brain. Guest guest
I did look at your pictures and thought that they were wonderful. We have an employee at my work who had his second kidney transplant within the last two months (I think it was 2 months ago). I will repeat that I apologize. I don't know what else to say. Guest guest
i had one across my belly just below my ribcage, one IN my bellybutton, and two on my right side of my abs, my other sister had it totally across her belly diagonally(from like the side of one ribcage down to opposite hip), and jayne's was just above the pubic area b/c of the c-section. don't hold it to hard against it,like pressing. maybe try holding it below the incision when getting up and see if that helps. there wasn't much i could do for my bellybutton(since staples were IN the bellybutton), but i held it on my side so when i got up.but i think that is how my sister did it after her c-section. then again you went some serious trauma(like childbirth isn't,but the body adapts to that) so it might be more then the incision, it could also be nerves and muscles under that part of the incision that just needs a little more time to heal. give it a few more days and follow everything the doc tells you is imperative to healing well. but always question your doc as to what is normal pain and what seems to be to much pain. take carekassia from Michigan <volleyjen0416@...> wrote: I must be holding the pillow against my stomach wrong because it make it hurt more. Guest guest
Jen, I can understand...from one Navy wife to another (ex-Navy wife When our daughter needed spinal surgery (for the second time in her short one year of life) (she has spina bifida), the Navy had the nerve to tell my husband (who was still stationed up north...we had to move down here to GA so the kids could start school) that I should just handle it and that he was not allowed to come down here for her surgery because other guys needed time off to move their family (the boat was moving then). By the way, my husband was not allowed any time off to move us....YES....I had to move all 3 kids from Maine to Georgia BY MYSELF and the Navy had the nerve to tell him that he couldn't get time off for our daughter's second spinal surgery so that OTHER guys could move THEIR families....when my husband couldn't get time off to move us. ALSO, the other guys were moving from Maine to Connecticut....and I had to move from Maine to GEORGIA without my husband! Talk about understanding the whole "suck it up" mentality that goes with being a Navy wife. Well, I like the idea of Beachbody's TMT (10 Minute Trainer), I have TMT but there's something about it I just don't like enough to do for 90 days (for some that something is Tony Horton, LOL ). So what's a girl to do? I looked around and realized that I have a bunch of 10 Minute Solution workouts (TMS). So, using the TMT calendar I've put together a rotation, what the TMT rotation does is feature one 10 min workout but suggests too others for a total workout of 30 min. On top of that I thought I'd try to break up the 90 days ala CLX with a burn, push and lean phase. I've followed the color coordination. With the variety of workouts I'm not bored and after doing CLX I'm stronger...I hope that I can keep up the two 30 min workouts per day, get more sleep and drink more water, if I can do the sleep and water parts the rest, including clean eating, should take care of themselves. Guest guest
Well I hope that bunion stops bothering you soon. Make the most of your pool time, I'm sure it's a pleasant change for your body, when you get back to weights you'll have the ultimate cross training.Vennitta On Sun, Jul 12, 2009 at 9:32 PM, from Michigan <volleyjen0416@...> wrote: Thanks V, I looked at those sandals but I think that they may irritate my bunion and it's irritated enough right now. I don't want to use bands. I will just wait until my foot feels a better or until I see my podiatrist again on Thursday.
