Guest guest Posted June 10, 2011 Report Share Posted June 10, 2011 Wow, I havent been here in such a long time and when I saw a link posted on the Achalsia FB page I decided to see if anyone here still remembers me I also wanted to give a little update about me and I can't believe I am saying this but I am doing great !!! I guess saying that I had pizza for dinner says it all My last visit to any hospital was back in April 2005. I had my last three dilatations back then and havent looked back. Ofcourse I still have my bad moments but I can still eat & drink and I haven't had moments where I thought I had to go back into hospital for check ups/treatments etc. I just read some old messages (just have a search for 'biancka edwin' in 2004 and you'll find out my story) and I am in tears. I went through so much and I got so much support from everyone in this group !! I dont know if I ever thanked everyone but....THANK YOU !! I still have all the cards that were send to me and my husband printed out all the emails from this group (I still havent had the guts to read them all......it is still too much to deal with). Anyway.....this group just rocks and it is just great that everyone here relates and doesnt think you're mad for not being able to eat/drink Big hugz from The Netherlands !!
