Guest guest
A lot of ppl have been writing in with frustration regarding these " heart attack " spasms. I have had these, and they are very scary. I have been meaning to post my remedy and just now have time. They are first caused by stress. Then milk, butter, yogurt, or cream, especially cream cheese is the worst. It's a delayed reaction - 2 to 7 hours later. It's like I get a little heartburn. If I get cold water within 1 second, the little heartburn pain goes away. The quickness is most important- carry water everywhere. If I don't get water, I'm in for the heart attack. When that happens, a dry saltine cracker, a dry piece of bread, chewable Pepcid AC, and then if none of that works, throw up. Something about making the sphincter muscle contract even more helps. I know this sounds crazy, but perhaps try cutting dairy out for two days. Use soy yogurt. I have had times where even throwing up didn't work. It is so painful, my body goes into shock- cloudy ears, numbness, faint, trouble breathing, pain down extremeties, extreme chest pain, crying, confusion, and begging God to make it stop. Happened once at work and i fainted in the bathroom stall. I have heard of ppl taking Tylenol PM for this. Like i said, this sounds crazy. Even more crazy is that I can eat cheese. Mac and chZ is also ok. Baked goods are mostly ok. Once I cut out milk, I went from 3x a day to once every 2 months when a restaurant hides butter in food. Good luck and HTH. PS once it happened while I was being chased by a police man. He thought I was trying to escape. I was just trying to get to the nearest gas station. PPS I'm one of those ppl that can't tolerate coke. I do eat a lot of lactose free butter I got a food sensitivity test. I am sensitive to chicken, milk, spinach, and various other things. Once I cut all that out was when the spasms stopped. PPS I also tried nitro and that didn't help
