Guest guest
Hi All my first post on here.I had a Heller's Mytomy in November 2009 at first didn't appear to have been successful. This was according to my surgeon because my illness was still continuing to progress and two years down the road my eating is better like most of you on here eating slowly sometimes taking an hour to eat a small plate of food. I still suffer very painful spasms which don't have any pattern to what causes them. I am visiting another Hospital to get a second opinion on Monday. In the all the posts on this forum I have not seen anybody commenting about feeling cold. Before I was diagnosed with Achalasia which took a while after visiting various Doctors and having lots of tests. I lost 84 pounds in weight(6 stone) luckily I was big boy at the time weighing in at about 18 stone so could afford to lose the weight.I am now eating better but still very small quantities. My main issue is I feel cold all the time.In Uk where I live the temperature is about 20 celsius at present and I am sitting indoors shivering with the heating on and my thermal underwear and layers of jumpers.Has anybody else experienced this this intense cold feeling that seems to be coming from my very core. All the best Ian from Essex England
