I did try Reiki -- it was incredibly relaxing, and helped calm my fears that I

would indeed survive long enough to get better and not starve to death before I

could have surgery. It didn't help me swallow -- but I still would do it again

-- or get a massage.

Haven't tried acupuncture yet, but had planned to.

Hi Ben, I have had acupuncture and still do but it is coupled with Chinese

herbs. I don't think that the acupuncture by itself (which I had 2 years ago)

had a great enough result. Please see my recent (last week) post about Chinese

medicine.

I think that the Reiki will help because it helps you relax and helps your body

start to heal but it is not enough by itself. By the way, I am a Reiki Master

and I have had it done for me throughout the time that I have had A. I do it

for myself as well along with other energetic healing modalities and tools.
