Guest guest
Have a few questions for you.. I have some knowledge of the IHS... and when I looked at it, I discovered that the head of the Peds in the system is in Tuba City.. which just happens to be the mission field we have just started working in.. So I wrote him.. Would you be willing to travel if you could? If your ins. would cover it? Could you get together the funds or funds raising to get it done? Talk to you hopefully soon. Guest guest
Carolyn, I am not sure that all IHS has the same head they may I have never thought to ask. In our personal experience we have learned not to the rock the boat. Her pediatric (IHS) doctor herself will refer Taniea where ever I want but if we step on the GI's toes and he gets upset he could walk away from her also. It has happened to us twice already. I could raise the money to travel but again part of it would be getting IHS to approve it, they have done so much as it is for her and are starting to get aggravated at the little things such as changing from Prilosec to Prevacid. I am leaving the group but I wanted to thank you for your help. Guest guest
Shamira, I would ask you to reconsider leaving the group. Even if you go silent and just lurk here. But there is so much knowledge and information here, that is positive. You never know what could pop up here that could really be useful to you... Please reconsider.. I will let you know if I hear from Dr Holve. Carolyn mom to cameron...
