Guest guest
I forgot that I wanted to include these graphs in that other post. Estimated probability of staying in remission http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1774039/figure/f4/ Time to become symptomatic by patient age http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1774039/figure/f3/ Time to become symptomatic after the first dilatation http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1774039/figure/f1/ Time to become symptomatic after the first, second, and third dilatation http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1774039/figure/f2/ Those were about dilatations done many years ago with a Browne-McHardy dilator which is not used today. It is hard to say how it compares to todays methods. One of the interesting things here is that in the last figure 2 if a first dilatation failed the second also seemed to fail soon but the third lasted longer. notan
