Best of luck Jen. I hope your surgeon inspires your confidence and offers you a

good outlook. I am day 5 after my surgery and despite the expected post-surgery

abdominal pain and discomforts, I have no doubts whatsoever that his was the

right thing to do. Swallowing is easy, no weird foamy regurgitation and I don't

wake up choking on my own saliva.

Bring the list of questions from the files section-- I kept adding more as the

day drew closer. My surgeon spent 90 minutes with us describing the surgery, and

answering my 25 questions. My husband took great notes so I could remember

everything later. It was amazing how much I didn't remember when I read those

notes. My surgeon also gave me a patient to call as a reference.

Let us know what you learn, how it goes and what you decide.

week!

,

I have Myotomy surgery scheduled for the middle of August, would you be

willing to share your questions and answers, as for what would be more

general for all?

If so, it would be much appreciated, as I am becoming more and more nervous

and I am not sure what questions to ask.
