Guest guest
My myotomy was done by Chojnacki and Sidney Cohen at Jefferson. They do lots of them. Richter said they did a good job. I don't like the xray people there... they are totally rude jerks. The factory surgery system there is also dehumanizing. BUT, you can get first rate surgery there. I think you would like Chojnacki. She is very nice and closer to your age than most. I would trust her.... I DID trust her and have no regrets. You might prefer having another woman doing this. From my point of view it felt awkward, but I'm a man. Leo Katz, the GI at Jeff, is good people. He was the one to diagnose my achalasia, after the typical misdiagnosis of its oposite we all know so well. You could see him. Temple's surgeons, recommended by Dr. Richter have plenty of experience. ly, I think there is no need to travel far. In small town hospitals, and branches of teaching hospitals, it's different. Philly is a highly competitive university teaching town and Temple, Penn, and Jefferson have surgeons more than adequate to the task of a myotomy. When myotomies fail and things go awry is when the top handful of docs in the nation are needed. Merely excelent will work for the rest of us just fine. We are not looking at " on the job training " that others have experienced. , 53, who is over three years post myotomy by Chojnacki, whom I think you would like and trust if you just gave her a chance.
