Hi Ian, This is Eva in Chicagoland. I did have extreme cold the way you are

describing and it would last 4 to 6 hours. No one could explain to me why I had

it. I had lost a lot of weight too and was totally depleted of energy. It went

away after I went on the Chinese herbs, had the dilatation and started being

able to eat and keep the food down. I went on pureed vegetable soups with a

little meat in them for several months. Hope this helps. Eva

eating is better like most of you on here eating slowly sometimes taking an hour

to eat a small plate of food.

Hi

Have had A for 5 years and no operations. I went from 170 to 135 lbs real

soon, now 145 lbs, then I felt cold as hell. Once I found out what I could eat,

it was better. Found out that butter and Magnesium pills helped me eat much

better.

I still every night while watching TV have a heating pad on my chest, I believe

the heat makes the food go through much faster.

Went to my Cardiologist last week for a 6 month chectup, he sugested I have a

nuclear treadmill test. Said my bypass was 14 years old.Went today it was a big

3 hour test, I had to have them put on heated blankets for the catscan,

otherwise I would shiver and affect the test.

Sure glad I live in California, I am out on the deck every day in our out of the

shade.Great weather year around 81 degrees now having a marguerita.

Ray CA OC 80 old as hell!

Hi

In Mission Viejo 10 miles from the ocean behind some big hills

across from LAGUNA beach.Calif is a big state, we are between

LA and San Diego.

It is a bit hot in this area, if the sun is out I am in the sun or under an

umberala. I have a big sweater if the temp gets below 70 degrees. Now that I am

eating better and gaining weight the coldness

is better. I still even in the summer have a heating pad on my chest while

watching TV in the evenings. In the winter a big heating

blanket on the bed.

Yes I believe we cant stand the cold after loosing a lot of weight.

Ah you live in a beautiful part of California. I grew up in San Francisco, but

have been living in Fremont for the past ten years.

How are you feeling?

I am always cold like you say, but I have been like that since childhood

because of being thin.People always mentioned how slow I ate, even as a kid and

I am wondering now if I had this disease even back then.A lot of times in the

morning my hands will be numb and white even when the temp is 80 outside.I think

this is from the Sotalol I take for atrial fibrillation though.
