Sounds to me like Ashton has a smart teacher who knows how to work with her.

What a blessing,

Maureen

maureen,

yes ashton is blessed with a great teacher, but her teacher is leaving...

she has been promoted to director of middle school spec ed which is great

because the middle schools really suck and need major improvements.... so i

am glad for all those kids and for ashton because maybe she will whip the

middle grades into shape before we get there...if not my big mouth will

assist her....:-) they have been interviewing since before xmas to no avail.

they hired a teacher who started last week and quit three days

later....Ashton must have been on her best behavior, heheheheh i am glad she

quit, i didnt like her anyways.... i was volunteering in the class and a

little boy hit me, i signed and told him 'no that hurts me' the almost new

teach said, " maybe he doesntunderstand what hes doing " roflmao.... yeah

right, kids got an iq of 90+ he knows...i think she was an itit, no loss to

us or the kids.... so we are searching for teacher, but we love theo ne we

have now....thank god she will be in charge of all the autistic kids and

programs....take care and i hope ms.amanda is doing well too.//

Your optimistic outlook is commendable! I wish I had your strength and

wisdom! I fall apart at the slightest hint of trouble.......

Take care, sending hugs and prayers for a speedy recovery,

Yup, I have both of them in my outbox. After I got the first " nonsent'

response,

I tried " forwarding " it to her again and got the same thing. I just

wrote her another

Email to see what would happen and so far so good. Maybe the weather

was

too cold for the system last night (hehe).

Re: testing testing 1 2 3

It has nothing to do with your mailer. The problem is either on RR's end

or

the recipient's end -- both out of your control. I am guessing RR.

You should still have a copy in your sent or outbox.

I've tried a couple of times to see if there's a setting that needs to

be changed

but couldn't find anything. I'm probably overlooking something. I was

hoping

somebody had experienced this and had the solution.

RE:

now *that* would be an outlook setting. I don't use it so I can't offer

any

advise there. Hunt around in your options/settings/preferences or

whatever

word Microsoft uses in that application.

... Sherm uses the same program... I'll have him read your email and get

back to you with what to do... it probably won't be 'til 8-ish or so by the

time we get dinner and homework time done. Hold tight. I know what you have

to do, but I can't tell you! LOL Sherm will know exactly what the deal is.

Hi Maureen

I know that you're absolutely right I just hate READING instructions. I

should probably hand it to my 15 yr old daughter, let her figure it out

and then have her teach me. Kids learn those things so much faster than

us " old goats " when it comes to electronic devices, etc. (hehe)

Re: Happy Grandma is alive and kicking!!

-- you will find your digital camera to work about the same as your

SLR! Just point and shoot! Worry about fancy settings as you go. When

you

first learned how to make soaps I bet you weren't using fancy molds and

colorants -- think of your camera the same way! And you'll save time

instead of waiting for film to get developed and then time to scan :-D

Glad to hear all is well. Take care!

Can I add to that? So much of the work in the civil service and

NDPBs is behind the scenes, and we've appreciated what you have

done, Maureen.

Where you live - I would highly recommend you bypass anyone else you've seen and

go to one of 3 places.

Dr. Patti is in Chicago somewhere - someone can post his contact info or you can

search him - Carolyn's son Cameron saw him and everyone who goes to him raves.

Dr. Rice is at the Cleveland Clinic - does about 300 myo's a year - one

of the best of the best

My surgeon, Dr. Luketich at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center -

the hospital itself is connected to a pediatric hospital - Dr. L is awesome and

the staff at the hospital are also very experienced.

As Notan said - top in gastro does NOT mean top in achalasia - these 3 I listed

are the best of the best - don't settle for anything else. Properly done surgery

- even a re-do - can make the difference and give your daughter her life back.

It is not uncommon to have the occassional post heller dilation but it sounds as

if she's getting no relief - seems to me there's something else going on.

I hope this doesn't sound TOO pushy - I just cannot stress to you enough the

importance of going to the best.

Please keep us posted
