This article is not about achalasia or the esphogaus but it is kind of

interesting. First Lab-grown windpipe saves cancer patient. Experts say

synthetic structures using a patients own stem cells could be used to fashion

simple organs like the windpipe, esophagus, ect......

story consists of five slides and is kind of short on info but possibilities in

the next 20 years for this type of science for treating conditions like

achalasia are pretty interesting.
