Guest guest
Can anyone share what medicines have helped the most with acid reflux? I still have alot of reflux with Omeprazole and my insurance is dragging their feet to approve Nexium which was prescribed by my specialist? Why does our insurance company think they know more about our condition than our specialist and how can our insurance know what is best for us? Thanks. Guest guest
Barb, we had the same problem -- my husband did well on Nexium but then we switched insurance & the new one wouldn't cover it. So he switched to Aciphex, which worked well but then they stopped covering it when they changed our plan. So he started taking OTC Ranitidine. That worked for about a year, but then it started to make him nauseous. So now he is on Pantoprazole, can't remember the name brand but he does pretty well with that. Some days he has to take more than prescribed but oh well -- whatever gets him through the day! > > Can anyone share what medicines have helped the most with acid reflux?
