Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to post an update on my mom. She had the balloon dilation 7 months

ago by Dr. Bipin Saud in Las Vegas, NV. She has not had any other issues or

spasms since.

She weighed 115 the day of dilation and severly dehydrated. She now, as of her

check up on friday weighs 158!!!! She has been able to eat three regular size

healthy meals and 3 small snacks every day with no spit up, foam, or burning

pressure. We have incorporated a load of tips that yall have posted such as add

butter to meals to get things moving, table cream to cereals to help regain some

weight, pedialyte for dehydration etc. (We are now cutting back on the creams

and butter as her weight is where it needs to be).

She smiles, laughs and tells everyone who will listen what a blessing it's been

to feel normal again. She is back to all of her usual activities and traveling

the country to see her grandchildren and great grands. She is back to her daily

walks through the garden and feeding her chickens and participating in her

Church activities.

We just can't say enough of how professionial and understanding Dr. Saud is. He

talked directly to mom, answered her questions and is very patient with all of

my questions. He has treated her with respect and not as an elderly person at

the end of their time.

Her next evaluation will be in October and will have a barium swallow at that

time to evaluate the esophagus and stomach. There was no need at this visit as

she is having no problems to date.

Thanks to you all who have been so much support through all of this.

Special THANKYOU to Maggie (LunaIam2) Again as you are an resource and

inspiration to my mom.
