Guest guest
Hello all, It has been just over three weeks since Taniea's motility study and the GI finally called with the results. He said that she has no peristalsis which is common, she attempted to swallow 25 times but the LES failed to open at all. Also her pressure is in the 30s-40s and since she has no peristalsis should be at 10 or lower. So he suggest that she have a another surgery. He said that he is going to contact Boston, Milwaukee, and Columbus along with the local surgeon's to see what they suggest for treatment options. I also suggested he call Dr. Pelligrini. Well that's where we are at today should know more in two weeks. On a happy note though she is at a healthier weight now so we have the time needed to make the best thought out decision.
