Guest guest
So glad to hear this !!!! > > hey guys - I'm now 3 1/2 years post -ectomy!! hard to believe it's been that long now. Crazy. > Anyway- I " ve been feeling fine, weight is good, swallowing well but it's been 2 years since I've seen Dr. L so I thought it was time for some routine follow up. > Had a barium swallow last Friday at my local rinkydink hospital. Radiologist said it looks to him like everything is fine, he wants a copy of my last swallow but I'm probably just going to send his films and disk to Dr. L and let him look at them. > Just had my EGD today and I'm still pretty groggy but he said everything looks great- no twisting or bulging or turning or acid damage. So, as long as I continue to feel this good - I'm not doing anything more for about another 2 years. I figure that every other year is a good follow up schedule for me. > The only thing that's changed at all for me recently is that I've developed some low tolerance for fried foods - couple of weeks ago, felt like I was having a gall bladder attack - but it was removed 6 years ago... this may just be normal anyway - I'm hitting my mid 40's - may just be a normal part of my process. > Otherwise, feeling great! > ~ in NC >
