It is esophagus manonetry. while searching for information, I found this group. It looks like I am going to could use some support.. My medial history of my digestive system. I have had 3 operations for repair to hiatal hernia.and still have a hernia. the last 2 were some of the worse periods of my life. About 2 months ago I ended up at ER 3 times because of breathing problems.Two years ago I changed my PCP. She asked for a second opinion on my digestive problems. She referred me to another surgeon. I am now being told that my stomach is my esophagus and pushing against my ribs & lungs causing my breathing problems. I asked to be refer to another gastroenterologist. On a recent barium swallow the pill didn't not go done. After waiting an hour I was sent home. I saw the* *gastroenterologist. and he felt my esophagus was not working. I am a Celiac,and many abdominal surgeries and will turn 80 years old next month.
