Angina like pain caused by irritable esophagus

I just read this in one of the sites files and it seems like this may be

causing my shest pain rather then spasms.My pain is a sharp stabbing short

duration pain, that comes on about evry 30 seconds or so for around 5-10 minutes

at a time.I don't get any cramping as some paople describe with spasms.It's just

a sharp pain.They say benzodiazepines can help with this, but they are quite

addictive.I know my nitro glycerin works on it also because when it first

started happening I thought it was angina and treated it with that.After having

some cardiac tests I found that I had no issues there and that's when I started

looking at other causes.I am just hoping that they eventually go away as they

are quite bothersome.
