With respect to Achalasia, i have few questions and would be grateful if i get some response from you guys. a) Were you given the dilatation, if applicable, under local or general anesthesia? I have heard achalasia patients may have a risk of cancer - is it true? c) Is there any permanent treatment of achalasia? d) Do you know someone who had a dilatation and his/her esophagus got perforated?
