Right now I have a HMO so I will have to see my GI and then (I think) request him to submit a referrel to the doctor of choice. I'm hopful he will remember the comment he made to me last year regarding that if he had to do surgery he would go to the Mayo clinic. Based on people's experience with surgeons I narrow it down to: 1. Francis Nichols - Mayo Clinic, Rochester MN 2. Stanly - head of Gastroenterolgy @ town Medical in Washington D.C. (this doctor is only 1.5 hours away an may be of high consideration with insurance) 3. Marco Patti - University of Chicago 4. Rice - Cleveland Clinic 5. Luketich - University of Pittsuburg Medical Center Thank you for support and please provide any additional information that may be helpful on this journey.
