Guest guest Posted March 8, 2011 Report Share Posted March 8, 2011 Hi Shamira, I am not sure if it was part of her hospitalization to have a dietitian or maybe a friend of ours was a dietitian tech and ask the dietitian to visit us. But whatever it was, the dietitian, explained to my daugther what she can eat a week after the surgery. The liquids she can take and then the mushy foods and what she cannot eat. It was very helpful and now she has a guide on what to buy when she goes grocery. She told her to avoid eating corn or anything with skin, nuts or anything with seeds. Also avoid breads, cakes, doughnut, cakes. It was very very helpful. I will continue to pray for your daughter and the rest of people with A. It is a horrible disease and we pray for cure..
