Guest guest
Hello, I'm new to the group; recently diagnosed with achalasia even though I have had esophageal problems (spasms, swallowing etc)since my mid twenties. Its gotten to the point (6cm diameter)that I'm going to pursue surgery. Any specific names of surgeons in the Bay Area that you've had success with? I'm speaking to Dr J. Morton (Stanford University)- someone on this forum listed him as having over 500 Heller Myotomoy's he has preformed. Anyone have experience with him? Thank you for any advice/help!
