How soon after myotomy can you travel?

Hi everyone,

Hubby and I would like Dr. Marco Patti at University of Chicago to do husband's

myotomy. We would be traveling from San Francisco to see Dr. Patti and for the

surgery, if we can get the insurance company to pay outside our network.

I am wondering how soon after a myotomy is it OK for a patient to fly? If you

have any experience with this type of scenario, I'd very much appreciate your

insights.
