I too have found a type of sublingual medication (a form of nifedipine which i think is a calcium channel blocker that is fast acting) it tastes minty and dissolves right under the tongue. It was very helpful until I ran out of it at one point. I am going to try to get the script refilled for future emergencies. It is nice to know that there are other people who understand.
