Guest guest
Good morning- It's been a while since I checked in! My son had a HM in 2009 and has started having symptoms again. I spoke to my employer about his illness and made arrangements to take time off for appointments and do work from home. Yesterday they let me go due to attendance. Has anyone else run into this? I'm a single mother so what else was I supposed to do? I'm one big panicky mess right now. Any advice? Sent from my iPhone
Guest guest
The US has an FMLA law. Did you apply. You may still be able to. Dan Sent from Smrtphone That Lacks Spellchecker
Guest guest
I think you have to be employed for a year. I've been there 7 months Sent from my iPhone On May 4, 2011, at 9:50 AM, Hoffman <rp518dan@...> wrote: > The US has an FMLA law. Did you apply. Guest guest
Cannot cut and paste link on this Android phone, but the DOL website, found by Googling " FMLA " says 20 weeks. There are limits on who is covered. It cannot hurt to look into it. Dan Sent from Smrtphone That Lacks Spellchecker
