Guest guest
Abigail I've seen Dr. Rice since 2004. He has been very good in my treatment and surgeries. I'm at work currently but would love to chat. Just let me know when you would like to and what you are needing to know. in WV Sent from 's iPhone On Jan 5, 2011, at 5:07 AM, " abigailstar2009 " <abigailstar2009@...> wrote: > I would love to talk to anyone who has Dr. Rice as their doctor. Guest guest
My HM was in 2008. I followup with Dr. Rice annually. Will be scoped at five years. If everything OK, told I will followup every other year.  Pam in Ohio ________________________________ From: Barb C. <bagwoman52@...> achalasia Sent: Wednesday, October 19, 2011 8:40 PM Subject: Dr. Rice  What is the yearly follow-up recommended from Dr. Rice? After HM is it best to do follow-ups with a GI specialist or the surgeon such as Dr. Rice? Thanks for any advice.
Guest guest
It is one year, and he likes for you to follow up with him. InVa Sent from my iPhone
Guest guest
I went for my annual followups back to CCF. Usually you have a barium swallow. The first year I had both an endoscopy and a colonoscopy. Then the second year Dr. Rice himself did the endoscopy and I had a small dilation. This year (3#) I only had a barium swallow and was told that I don't need to go back for two years unless I have problems swallowing. I think they generally want patients to come back annually for 5 years for the barium swallow. Since I spend most of my time working overseas I am thinking of finding another doctor to do the barium swallows and send the results to Dr. Rice as it may be hard for me to get back to CCF for the next 2 years.
