Guest guest
I didn't have to go to my Dr., he called me last night and ordered blood tests....too bad the damn lab closed early today as we were hit with an ice storm! I'll be there tomorrow and hope to hear from my RD asap. He did also call in a muscle relaxer for me, but I never had the chance to pick it up thanks to the ice. 70.....SURE....RUB IT IN! LOL. Guest guest
Hi I was wondering how you were feeling and how your week has gone. I have been thinking of you and remembering you in my prayers. Best wishes Kay
Guest guest
Hi Kay My week so far has been not bad and not good sorry that i cannot be more precise than that. My swalloing remains the same as pre dilatation although not quite as bad yet. Ate some toast with lashings of butter and managed about 6 mouthfulls before i had problems swallowing which didn't improve with tea. my throat is not so painfull and the swelling from the dilatation seems to be going down so i will refrain from phoning that SOS number that the hospital gave me after the dilatation. I might still need it yet we'll see. I will take each day as it comes and remain hopefull that i won't need to ring that phone number. I still have to hiccup and gurggle when i swallow so i am not out of the woods yet but we'll see. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers, they are much appreciated. I have an appointment to see my General Practicioner on monday morning for a review and to discuss what happened at the dilatation by then he will have received the report of what happened from the consultant who performed the dilatation when the balloon burst. from the UK From: Kay Davies <kayf.davies@...> achalasia Sent: Friday, March 25, 2011 12:41 PM Subject: Re: how are you  Hi I was wondering how you were feeling and how your week has gone.
