Guest guest
Hubby had a partial ectomy a year ago, but recently has been vomitting. He thinks food is not getting to his stomach. He feels burning most of the time. He is going into hospital next week for endoscopy, and I should hope a barium swallow. And maybe some testing of PH levels or even Barrett's oesophagus...? Not looking forward to this trip to this particular surgical ward. The standards were appalling there following his partial oesophagectomy - as a nurse I was disgusted at all aspects of his care. (Couldn't fault ITU or high dependency wards though). Hubby said after his partial ectomy last year that he'd rather be dead than go through anything like that again. Thankfully time has healed those thoughts but staying positive remains very difficult.
