2 years post surgery! And counting...

Hi all!

I know it has been a while since I have been on here, but I had the Heller

Myotomy with the wrap in June 2008 and I have been great ever since!

I do have the occasional spasm, but I recently was scoped in November 2010 and

the gastro doctor said I can wait another 5 years before I come back again. He

also prescribed Levsin for the spasms which seems to work so far. They are

pills that you dissolve under your tongue.

I just wanted to check in with my fellow Achalasians and let you all know how I

was doing, as well as to pass along some comfort to those getting ready for

surgery. You will feel SO much better afterward!!! Hang in there :-)
