Guest guest
So strange how everyone is different. Carbonation works for me all the time, and I usually put liquid in my mouth, and then suck in when I swallow as it seems to give me a little extra " oopmh " in my swallow and helps to get things down. If anything it makes the acid worse as i cannot swallow anything with fizz in it. I must let the fizzy drink go flat before i can drink it if i want the taste that is. from the UK From: " LunaIam2@... Guest guest
I was also advised to avoid fizzy drinks for a year after surgery. I was told that the carbonation puts pressure on the surgery site.
