Guest guest
Recently I was wondering why we haven't heard from her since last fall, so I emailed her. She replied and will send info she sent. I was particularly interested in the curcumin info. She has an Electrical Engineering degree (like me) and a MS in Biomedical Engineering so I consider her information very important. Please be positive on any posts she may present. She is in Turkey and is doing better on the English language. Banu Hi RAY 2-23-11 Yes i am in turkey istanbul. You are sure writing with a poor english may be a contributor for low interest to my mails. For now i have not a friend to develop my mails to correct bad grammer. i dont much relate with surgery or dilatation procedures. Because the succes rate of them are at %90 for myotomy. All the procedures puts a mechanical solution without regarding of histopathologic observations.i dont focuse that treatments untill feeling i am in unmanageable phase. You can post my mail to group with a suitable comment. Banu Thanks for your interest. 2-23-11 You are sure i could not post or share with group. The most important one is lacking of interest of my posts.Generally i follow posts to get more clue to light possible future developments about achalasia. i want mention about my condition as you remember my ke factor was curcumin. i discontinued curcumin 2 months ago due to hyper sensation at esophagus and depression problems.depressive problems was related with dysphagy .and i had hyper tension problems even before achalasia. at least i used 10 month of curcumin usage in this time interval i regain weight as adding a least 30 lbs .before curcumin i had significant problems even drinking water. Now dyspaghy disappeared my esophageal sensation heatburn and regurgitation resolved without using ppi. i feel my self more enrgetic. i dont know this recovery period is temporal or not. but i understand at least one year is needed to get some benefits from curcumin.i use serotonin uptake inhibitor for depression for two months as escilatopram that completley resolved my hyper sensation and mood problems still i continue. Feeling all things going stomach is a miracle. Sinserely care yourself... Best wishes Banu...

In the early brain storming portion any idea should be accepted without criticism no matter how ridiculous it is. The ridiculous idea may be just the thing to stimulate a better creative thought that leads to a good solution. Latter when data is presented to analyze the merits of the proposed solutions one must be critical of bad data, bad interpretations and bad methods of producing data. I will try to be positive about suggestions for doing research. I reserve the right to be critical of bad data, or bad interpretation of data, or bad methods used to produce the data. I also reserve the right to question safety and to criticize claims that could put believers in risk. BTW: I thought, and do think, researching curcumin was, and is, a great idea. notan
