What options have you discussed with your doctors? One of the things they are trying is Botox injections into the pyloric sphincter. If that helps then a dilatation of the sphincter may provide more lasting help. There are also devices that can be implanted for gastric stimulation and pacing. If your gastroparesis is caused by damage to the vagus nerve while having surgery then your condition may be similar to people that have diabetic gastroparesis. There are sites online that have diets for diabetic gastroparesis. In general the diets are to avoid acids (citrus, pickles), fats, and tough foods (red meat, raw veggies and fresh fruit) and to eat soft easy to digest foods. notan
