yes!I know exactly how you feel. I first started noticing it when Ilost some

important work from my students.I used to write but now I can't even think

straight enough to write anything read-able.My grammar is off. It is hard for me

to focus, rememeber and process.

I wonder if anyone out there is doing any studies on achalasia and the brain.

Ihave been searching for a while and haven't found anything

If anyone finds anything on the subject I would be interested in it. I

don't know of anything. Others in the past have said they have memory

problems.

Achalasia and the brain...interesting topic. I have a rare condition called Mal

de Debarquement Syndrome which causes a non-visible rocking sensation that runs

from head to toe, in some it is visible with head bobbing appearance, brain-fog,

memory problems, chronic fatigue, balance/gait problems and depression.

I feel strongly that there is a connection between the two entities, but no

proof, it could be just a rare coincidence. I am not aware of anyone else that

has both conditions.
