Guest guest
Thanks Barb! I saw her doing her thing on a couple of reviews after that conference. I think one is the same demo she did last year for ours, scrubs. She did an excellent job. :-) Beth Byrne http://www.SoapAndGarden.com Soap, get the real thing! http://www.Saponifier.com On Thu, Jul 22, 2010 at 1:08 AM, barb stull <bis48@...> wrote: > > > > Hi I was the lights and lather last weekend and she did two demos. Guest guest
" I had hyperemesis gravidarium (really bad morning sickness, that lasts all day) for the first 5 months of my current pregnancy, and that was by far the worst thing I could have experienced " I once created a poll about this. I also had hyperemesis gravidarum with my twin pregnancy and it lasted for 4 months. i had to leave work and I was bed ridden because all I felt was nauseus and would throw up constantly - like 30 times a day. However, even though I was vomiting from the stomach, not much would come up other than thick saliva. This actually helped me because I needed to gain weight with my twin pregnancy. Losing wieght would have been bad for me. Kim, not to be gross but are you able to vomit undigested food? I wasnt because my esophagus is sigmoid and mega. Did you lose any weight from the hyperemsis? I feel for you girl. Its horrible. Truly the worst thing anyone ever has to go through and I will not have any more children because of it. Thankfully God blessed me with 2 beautiful boys!! i hope you are past the worst of it. As for my A during pregnancy, I had no cimpications at all. My LES was nice and relaxed. I wonder if HG is a common condition we pregnant achalasians seem to get more often than the normal population..... Good luck in your pregancy Kim! Guest guest
I actually had answered your survey from before Cara.  I was up around the number of times you were throwing up as well, but normally I'd only get the first 10 or so that had anything other than acid or foam in it (sorry for the disgusting nature of the conversation )  I've lost over 20lbs, and still have yet to reach my pre-pregnancy weight at 27 weeks, but I had some that I could afford to lose, so they say that's why he's developing right on schedule.  I had to have many consultations with the nutritionist at my hospital (difficult for her to comprehend the achalasia issues on top of the HG, but we got through it) and just regular monitoring to make sure everything was still on track, pregnancy-wise. In the vomiting department (again, gross-factor overload), I don't ever seem to have any issue with stuff coming up, but normally it's just from my esophagus.  I can tell when I'm actually throwing up, because it damn near kills me, coming from the wretching in my stomach.  I'm basically past the " morning sickness " (which also had me bedridden, btw), although I still have waves of nausea once or twice a week that will put me out for a half day or so. Much easier to handle than previous, that's for sure.  I still don't like being pregnant, but I can handle it for another 13 weeks  Thank god, I'm almost 40 and this is my last as well Thanks for the well wishes kim in canada From: spotoca <cspoto@...> Subject: Kim achalasia Date: Saturday, February 26, 2011, 3:03 PM  " I had hyperemesis gravidarium (really bad morning sickness, that lasts all day) for the first 5 months of my current pregnancy, and that was by far the worst thing I could have experienced " I once created a poll about this.
