Guest guest Posted October 13, 2010 Report Share Posted October 13, 2010 I'll post more later but here are the highlights: Surgery took a little more than 2 hours I had trouble taking deep breaths after surgery but that got better after an hour or two Not in any pain at all - thanks to drugs Here is the kicker........dr. L completely straightened out my esophagus!!!!!! He was even surprised about this. Remember, I had a 90 degree turn in it at the bottom. Right now it's 180 degrees. Straight!!!!!!!!! Muscle has a memory so it can go back but well see. I'm on ice chips right now and so happy it's over. Dr. L is an amazing surgeon and Steve, you are in SUCH good hands. But I think you know this already I'm here until Friday so if our trips overlap give me a call if you want to meet up. Icant thank all of you enough for everything you have given me.
