Guest guest
ImmunoPro does not come in packets, it comes in a cannister. If you had such a problem with Immunocal, I would think you would also have this problem with ImmunoPro : ( It is not covered by Medicaid. Guest guest
To whom it may concern, I ordered Immunocal months ago, tried it and had immediate allergy stuff - sinus congestion, stuffy head. I knew I had a dairy allergy but was desperate to do somehitng about my Glutathione situation. Sinus infections were part of my immune system problems leading up to CFS so I was afraid to push through the symptoms from the whey. So I the Immunocal ,but after reading lately all of the encouraging messages re: whey I want to give it another try and see if I can't just deal with the side effects. Would any of you taking the ImmunoPro be willing to sell me just one packet, so that I can try it without going hrough the hassle of having tp get rid of a box of the stuff if I can't tolerate it? Please back channel if interested. Thanks, M- from MAine PS The immunocal was covered by medicaid, is the ImmunoPro?

I knew I had a dairy allergy You definitely should try ImmunoPro. I'm quite sure I read that even those who were lactose intolerant could handle the 'Pro. Unfortunately, it only comes in canisters, not packets. So it will set you back some cash, but if it works...I think the trick would be to start with a very low dose, say, 1/4 tsp., and see if you react. Guest guest
Since it seems like many of us are going to be taking ImmunoPro, has anyone thought about buying ten cases or so from and then redistributing them to the group? MK was talking about $21/jar if a large number of cases were purchased. I hear he is looking for more distributors, and I think it could be a good opportunity for someone to make a little money while supplying Pro to the list for maybe $30 per jar. I would commit to buying 6 jars, and if someone could get the order presold, there wouldn't be any risk of unsold inventory. Any comments? Guest guest
>> Don't you just LOVE the natural laws of commerce? >> >> Nelly >> I understand the sentiment Nelly posted about ImmunoPro. I don't know if this info would help but the price - $21 is from the early days (in Jan) when no one had tried ImmunoPro. MK was going to let Dave buy it at that price so some of us on the list could get started (thanks to Mike C for getting us that far) When I got involved (because Dave didn't want to sell it), MK gave me the price of $24 per canister). That offer expired when NEEDS became the distributor. : ( Mike C would not have known that since he was not involved at that point which may be why he posted the $21 price - a pre-evaluation price. It saddens me that this is so upsetting to people but I DO understand why people feel this way. On the other hand, I don't hear anyone complaining about the high cost of other wheys, Transfer factors or human growth hormones or organic foods and meats. We cannot target one person, Mike Keenan just because we have access to his email address or his phone number or feel we can blast him on a public forum, unless we also target ImmunoCal and ImuPlus. I invited him to do a townhall but I don't think he will due to our behavior. Which is a shame as there are many people needing advice on how and why to do whey who do not have the care of a physician. Remember, ImmunoCal and Imuplus is more expensive than ImmunoPro and there is no one to help - why are we targeting ImmunoPro? I am grateful to MK for what he has done in figuring out how to keep the amino acids/protein/the globulin intact so we can recover. I was spending $40/month on 4 glutathione injections that may be less effective than ImmunoPro/Cal/Plus. Why do we expect that it should be free? How much does TF cost? We have all spent too much money on stuff that doesn't work. $40/month for something that has shown to take positive HHV-6 tests from positive to negative and we're complaining? I can't take but 1/8 of a tsp of ImuPlus (seeming to be less powerful than ImmunoPro) per day so 1 $40 canister is going to last me several months! It is probably the cheapsest, most effective item aside from my Vit C and my fish oil. On a different note: A lot of profit is being made on MANY supplements/medications/food that we NEED to get well. How do we change that? An idea is being birthed here - there is a huge need for low cost/at cost treatments - supplements/foods/meds - how do we meet that need? How do we change this? Let's stop complaining/attacking others and figure out a solution. I'm in - who else? Banding together in some form is part of the solution - who wants to brainstorm with me to come up with a solution? This goes beyond ImmunoPro. This has been on my heart since Dec when I realized I might be able to keep my job and not lose custody of my son (at least until I could figure out how to recover). (I am a single mom with no backup of any sort - financial, physical or emotional.) Many other people are not as fortunate. Guest guest
> Marty In some ways I agree with your sentiment & I always find you post of great value. However this is a group for consumers and consumers have every right to complain about pricing and to investigate the value of products. Any provider listening in on this list should be happy to see what people are really thinking. Providers pay thousands if not millions of dollars on marketing research to finding out what there customers are thinking. So I don't think people should watch what they say for fear any particular provider may be looking in. You are most likely right that, if I understand you right, that Immunopro is a fairly priced product but even if it is there is nothing wrong with consumers questioning and investigating the product. I would love to see someone investigate TF and find out what the cost of producing this product. I could say the same for various other products, kutapressen, the hydro B12, others -- I'm sure every one has there own list. I am not sure that it is appropriate for any provider to contact individual participating on this list about things they said about a product -- what do others think about this. The whole area of consumers discussing product information on the web is such a new area. It is difficult to know what is ethical and what is not. For example in discussing treatment options, these options are identified with a particular provider and the published literature put forth the only reasonable way to talk about these issues is to evaluate the validity of the particular providers claims. This is not personally slamming an individual, I have a fair number of publication in a couple of research areas. If some one does not like what I have written they have every right to say is full of XXX. Heck I am just glad that they found my stuff interesting enough to read and talk about. So let's not walk on eggs in discussing the products and practitioners on this list. If providers are listening in then they are getting good marketing research for free. Whether of not it is ethical for providers to be listening in to a consumer news group is an interesting question. I do not have a big problem with it but they should not cry if they do not like what they hear. Steve > How do we change this? Let's stop complaining/attacking others and figure > out a solution.
