Visual Disturbances - shimmering, Chiari/CFS???

What type of visual sx did you have?

I have shimmering vision. Visual disturbance has been

one of my earliest sx along with tinnitus, I have had

both since my mid teens. Years prior to the onset of

other sx. Since I also have neck and upper back

stiffness and aching particularly during flares I am

seeking to rule out chiari/cervical spinal stenosis.

I have noticed that food and chemical sensitivities

make the shimmering worse and that it varies depending

on how well I feel generally.

Anyone else have shimmering vision? I asked on the

chiari list and a couple of people reported similar

sx, some getting quite severe effects like wavey lines

or spinning rooms. So far PWME have only reported

blurring and loosing focus which I can understand

completely in the context of muscle fatigue. Anyone

have other disturbances, please write.
