Guest guest
Dear lists, I had some questions about the blood thinning strategies. Maybe it is just me and brain fog but I am confused. Now, from what I have gathered Bromelain is supposed to help wit the thick blood situation. I got confused when reading the web pages http://folkarts.com/idef/food_for_blood_thinning.htm and I do have brain fog and it is pretty bad right now. However, I would like to understand this so I am forcing myself to write this email and hopefully some of you can help me to understand this better. I printed these pages out and have them in front of me. Now maybe part of what is confusing me is that there are different type of blood thinning. But, anyway, it sounds like people are taking Bromellian to help with the thick blood issues. But on this web page Bromellian is listed under Thickening Food (AVOID!) under Fibrinolytic chemical and so is Tumeric to the left of Curcumin for example. I thought one day a woman on the list posted that she was going to try Bromelain and also Tumeric. As I can see there is a note that says " Note: Some both contains both thickening and thinning (carrots and pineapple) " and I see garlic is listed under Thickening Food Avoid as a coagulation chemical next to arachidionic-acid and also under thickening food avoid under Fibrinolytic chemical next to Cycloalliin but then it is also listed under antifibrinolyitc chemical next to Linoleic acid and it is listed as is Bromelain under platelet activation suppressors. So, how do you determine what to actually take as some are under both take and avoid? Is there a way to determine the net affect or something? Also, do we have any idea without the expensive testing by Hemex which type of " thickening " or blood clotting activities may be causing us the most significant problems...platelet activation, fibrinogen, or thrombin generation? I was also wondering if people have experienced herxes when taking Bromellian and if these include people not antibiotics or just those on antibiotics? Well, thanks a lot. I will appreciate any insights b/c I keep looking at these papers but I don't end up any less confused!! I think this is a very interesting concept but I am confused! Thanks, Christy
