Guest guest
Ken, Do you drink organic grape juice? Grapes are one of the products that receive high amounts of pesticides. I try to only buy organic raisens because of this. I forget where I read this. It was one of those lists that show which crops are the most likely to be contaminated with pesticides. There was a new one of those this past year in consumer's reports that mentioned squash as being a big problem. The squash take up the pesticide from the soil so its on the inside, not something you can just wash off. All the information thats coming out about how toxins or pathogens could be the initiating factor in the downward spiral of health has made me more interested in buying more organic produce. I tend to lose my resolve when I see the prices and/or poor quality, but I'm trying. This year, I've been able to get some organic apples that arent too outrageously priced. Once you're sick, it doesnt seem to matter what your causal factor was. Toxins, stress and pathogens are " perpetuating factors " for all of us.
