I, also was asked by both sides of the feuding CAB to be in a position of

power. I agreed to accept Member at Large , as a liaison member, to bring

both sides to the table for a physical meeting. I cried, I begged and

pleaded, but neither side would budge. I had a tele bill that was outrageous

for two months. A very selfish act, when was willing to finance the

first CAB. Of course when he had both sides feuding, we fell right into his

hands. He stated he did not want to have a meeting until both sides were

working together.

Oh my God! Do I even need to translate this? Was this a Freudian slip?

I thought we had all agreed to leave experiences with drugs to self reporting of

own experiences. Even if " Dave " did report this to you, there is no way of

knowing he didn't progress due to saline as he may have progressed over the

years with this illness. This is pure speculation again!

First of all, in a double blind study, the patient does NOT have access to his

karnofsky scale results! Secondly, it can not be falsified. WE fill out our

forms every couple of months or so. They consist of the KPS questionnaire

regarding activities we engage in with specifics on what we need help with or

able to do ourselves. In addition to this, there is an Activity of Daily Living

questionnaire, consisting of 83 questions with an inquiry of symptoms per each

activity and level of assistance needed. Added to that, is a 90 question

symptom check list survey related to physical and mental activities we fill out,

as well as a 52 question health survey questionnaire. In the worse case

scenario, if one were to lie on these questionnaires, (which would be totally

irrational to do) we are given activity monitors to wear around the clock for a

week prior to and a week following treadmills. While wearing the monitors,

which detect every movement of the body from movement of a finger to the

squeezing of sphincter muscles, (yes, they know when we poop too, or have wild

passionate sex) we must keep a log of any activity lasting 5 minutes or more.

So you can't lie, " they " can't lie! It's set up to be extremely accurate and

fool proof. The treadmill not only measures physical stamina, but also contains

a face mask, all computerized, to measure oxygen utilization of the body,

detecting transformation from aerobic to anaerobic requirements, in addition to

cardiovascular status. With this, improvement of mitochondria activity can also

be measured as aerobic status is longer sustained with activity. ANY potential

lie WILL be detected if consistency is not there! Again, it's fool proof!
