hi all,

was given a nette pot to help with my sinus promblems very low

technology.( think might be indian? )

but sold in some health food stores.

it is a squat little pot like tea pot kind of, fill it with warm water and

salt.... (comes with instructions), bascially run up one nostril and out the

other to moisten membranes.

many people have found it helpful

unfortunately , my sensitive ears hurt more after it,,,, a complaint my

md hadnt had from anyone in awhile.

i use a sinus nasal steamer helps and my ent recommended an ice pack on

my sinus... While other people swear by heat pack for a few minutes.

somish

I have a nette pot and I don't like it. I think the spout is too big for my

nose. I use a ear syringe that I got at the drug store.

I bought one of those special nose noozles for my water pik and I used it

once. I guess I had the pressure on too high because I was in pain for a

while. Havent gotten brave enough to try again.

I love my steam inhaler.

I was in pain the first time I tried it, because I used filtered water straight

out of the tap, and it was too cold!

Now I fill a 2-cup pyrex with filtered water, add a scant tsp of salt, and

microwave on high for 1 minute. By the time I walk back to my bathroom and pour

it in the waterpik, it's the perfect

temperature.

And yes, put the waterpik on the lowest possible setting when you try it again!
