Guest guest
Dianne, you asked if the whey products (Immunocal, IMUPlus, the Life Extension brand, etc.) do the same thing as colustrum, since they both contain Lactoferrin. Someone kindly reposted an old post of mine that describes my account of using Lactoferrin with Colostrum. Thanks! It might be helpful to know that I'm on both colostrum and Immunocal now. I've been on the Lactoferrin with Colostrum for about a year-and-a-half. It definitely helps, especially with GI stuff. I started the Immunocal in December of 1998 and the improvement from it has been significant. It has helped more than any other sigle supplement I've taken over the years. So, for me at least, Immunocal and colostrum do very different things. Both are important, and I'm going to stay on both, at least for now. (Though I'm switching to IMUPlus - much cheaper with the 25% discount for seniors, and it's Cheney's top choice now.) I'm seeing Cheney in three weeks, assuming the hurricane doesn't blow the island away (they're under evacuation orders now), and I'm going to ask him about staying on the lactoferrin with colostrum. Take care. Carol
