Guest guest Posted November 11, 1999 Report Share Posted November 11, 1999 Jadin recommends (and I take) a Proton Pump Inhibitor (Losec in my case) with each abx dose and this really works to prevent the stomach distress/damage that I sometimes had from abx. But it is expensive - don't know what insurance situation is in USA. Also has the benefit of possibly helpin to kill of helicobacter pylori - hence fixing peptic ulcers.
